One of the biggest publishers in the world.

I've got a couple of clients that still use it... Both of them are about to go inDesign...

The Guardian is still set in Quark Xpress, which surprised me a bit considering they had the opportunity to change it with the major redesign, but I can understand it when the publishing solution in terms of copy editing, file management etc. is as embedded as that.
I haven't used Quark since 2001 - if you compare InDesign 2.0 to Quark 4/5 (whichever it was at the time) it's hilarious how superior it was. Completely shat on it in every department.

^ Yes, I believe that's true...
My mate still uses Quark 5 at his place... Amazing really... I only started using inDesign in 2010, also amazing...

mentalists!

I'd rather use InDesign on a PC than Quark on a Mac. That's how bad Quark is.

not my choice I'm afraid! just got a new job though so back on a mac. designing on a PC is hell.
+1 on quark. fuck that right in the ear
