Why don't you play polo?

Have you seen any polo recently? Gone are the days of ratty bikes cobbled together from begged/borrowed/stolen parts. Some pretty bling bikes are on the court now.

looking at the old pics it looks like they had team strips and the bikes look the same.
it's the difference between a pastime or a serious sport (with rules, standardised equipment and referees) i have no idea where polo is or where it's going but it looks amateur, rules and standards will either see it grow or kill it off because it's seen as a bit serious. maybe that's what killed it off the first time.
