Selling my Mavic's only cause I needed a pair that was less stiff for my cruiser.
These wheels are super straight, smooth (ive just replaced the bearings in the rear wheel) and stiff. You can hit any pothole and the only thing broken will be your ass :))) fast too.
The axle in the rear wheel has stripped threads - this is how I bought it. I've been using the wheels with chain tugs and ferociously forced on nut bolts to rethread the axle and been riding them like that fine. It may be a good idea to rethread the axle to smaller nuts or have the axle replaced.
This is why these wheels would be best for a rat hack, a little project or something.
