Hello Chaps.
I have a Dawes Response road bike for sale. Bought it before christmas with the intention of spending a bit of money on and then using but time has put a stop to my plan. Uni has taken over my life and if I do get a chance to get out on a bike I'll always want to take the Ward so this needs to go.
After measuring the seat post it appeared to come out as a 53cm c-t but it actually feels a similar size to my Ward which is a 48/49cm so i'm guessing thats down to bb heights etc. Regardless it will suit those shorter in stature.
The bike has Shimano Exage groupset with downtube shifters. The headset could do with a bit of a tinker as its a bit stiff. I bought some ritchey bar tape to go on it which I didn't get round to putting on. I also replaced the brake cables but didn't have cable ends or decent cable cutters so they've been left to cut to size. The only other thing to note is the rear wheel which has a campag rim logo. I'm presuming that this was an upgrade at some point in its life.
Anyhoo, I'll offer it to locals first and then pass it over to the main forum if theres no interest.
