Hi,
I might be persuaded to put this back on the market, although it is now a lot dirtier than in these pics and has black porteur bars and modolo stem fitted.http://www.lfgss.com/thread48683.html
It is actually lovely to ride and would fit her perfectly. Could poss ride it into town, but better to come out west to see it, cos bits can then be swapped if required (I still have the bar/stem comnbo in the pics)
Let me know.
Cheers,
Gav -

A friend of mine would be interested in this (assuming Arvy doesn't take it of course).
What's the actual size? She's 5'7 so I'm presuming it'd probably fit. Does it need much work?Cheers

It needs 2 nuts on the brakes..... I robbed them for another bike .... That's it. A strip down, lube up and perhaps some new tyres and a good clean....... Perfect for another 30 years or so ;0)

repairs completed- 7 speed, dynamo, inbuilt lock, new rear wheel, new grips, new twist grip, new brake blocks, pannier rack, has cable eyes etc for changing to a double or triple chainset.
Special feature: lard ass saddle
Nice and light as its alu, Dutch style
Make me an offer.............can deliver if required for a "consideration"....

Any suggestions of what sort of price you're after? I've really no idea for a bike like this...
Both of them look suitable, but as the aluminium one's got a rack and stuff already, it'd save me some trouble. Where are you Diablo? If there's any way she could try it first, that'd definitely help.
(and sorry for hijacking your thread Arvy).

Hijack is hardly the word - if it means you get a bike, everyone has done well.
I have put my friend in touch with Gav/Peter and hopefully a bike can be secured. Thanks again for you all your help.
