will fairly nails it here. It was purely a response to people who don't play, have never played coming on and suggesting bits to buy, if i remember rightly someone was spamming the bit and bobs section with sales. They were 175 road cranks and telling everyone how perfect they were for polo. Even though several people politely mentioned they were no good because the cranks were too long for pedal strike, he kept insisting, he knew what he was talking about even more so than people with practical experience. Somebody eventually said 'look mate, trust us they're no good, no polo - no talk' it was funny but it was also true. We even had a throw in team at the euros 2009 named after it. Personally the best / funniest comeback i have heard to it, was when BAD turned up at the regent after the cambs tourney and the track day was on the same day. We whipped out our trophy and hoops cut down our celebration with "fuck off, no track, no chat" - clever funny and perfectly in the spirit of the forum. :)
