  • I love the idea there is a poloista as seperate from fixie skidder or trickster... Lots of the 'poloistas' also have lo-pros, turn up to drinks and rides... Even race on the track.

    When I used to go to beginners on tuesdays (just for fun, I've dabbled in polo for 2 years now) I'd always go to se's after, and west polo was on Thursday so we could head to west drinks, where I've seen lots of people who play polo but went straight to wests rather than play!

    On the bridges rides I've been on, there have been polo players and every time I've been to Herne hill, there's always been a ton of polo players (at least one works there)...

    On occasion (well every occasion) there has been a point when all the polo players started talking about the league or some up coming tourny or something else a bit insular, but the rest of the time we do mingle... Some are better at mingling than others. Some are so good at mingling you probably don't even know they play polo! :)
