sure, solution, tighten the nuts more. dont break your spanner doing so though...as i have done in the past :)

Bang a wooden doorstop between seattube and tire for tension and tighten like a mofo. That's my tactic.

dont want that chain too tight tho - clunky binding sounds make the baby jesus cry.

ditto to what catfood says. over-tightened chains are noisy, feel unpleasant to ride with, and if the chain is stretched at all it damages the teeth on your cog quicker than normal.
The wooden doorstop idea sounds interesting though - i always struggle getting the right tension.

chain tension threads are a dime a dozen on here. the other problem is no matter how sweet and tight you get your chain in one crank position - it'll be slack somewhere else. best to aim for a happy median, enjoy yer ride and don't obsess over super taught chains - no matter how slick it may look while yer bikes chained to a lampost. you can also try a tennis ball/rolled up pair of socks/shaved hedgehog wedged between the rim and the seattube.
Any ideas on a chain tug for semi horizontal dropouts?
I'm a bit over adjusting my chain-line every 2 days... or should just tighten my nuts more?
