I'm casting my net for a multi-tasking everyday bike.
Things I'd like for sure:
-52 or 53cm.
-Currently in working order.
-Lugged steel frame.
-Relaxed everyday / light touring / set up (drops ok but will poss eventually set it up with something like a North Road or even some Major Taylors (yes I know that's a very different set up but I'm seeing what's out there and will base any later choices on what type of machine I end up with).
-Fenders or holes for fenders.
-Metal stem, post and bars. (not carbon or painted up etc).
-Smooth Ride.
-Something I can lock up outside the pub or in a rack with others without panicking.
I'm open minded about everything else including the gear set up (if only one, would prefer relaxed commute set up, SS not Fixed).
So if you think you have the type of day to day ride I can fall in love with for less that 200 squid, then I might be your man.
Thanks for looking one and all and for being patient with my open ended ad. I'll know it when I see it...
