  • Those Easton Forks were on Retrobike for £50. I had made a few enquiries (before i too realised they weren't 1") The seller expressed some concern about selling them as part of a frame set, as they had "heavy scratching" on the underside (and he was considering getting them assessed by Easton) Think he got advice and tidied them up with appropriate resin/lacquer, but have a look and check them over. I get the impression they were just standard scratches from stones, etc in tyres. Also the steerer was cut as it had a crack. In fact, do check them over, but i'm sure they'll be fine. Bargain if the seller was being over cautious, i have no reason to suspect otherwise and would've bought them myself had they been 1". nice forks....i hope.
