It'll take approx 5 days and you have to change the caustic soda solution every 24hours. It's very nasty stuff, wear appropriate safety gear.
If I was you, I'd take it to cyclus uno. 25quid is a bargain compared with the strife of hacksawing or danger of caustic soda
