I just wrote a nice piece but it did not save it.
Ok, At the top of the Easton seat post is a quarter size shiny piece that is glued in the post.
It is a cap, the ammonia will eat through it after about 7-8 hours. It did through mine on my Anchor Bridgestone frameset.
I am going to reglue and try again on Monday.
