I have the 2010 and am really happy with it for my firs SS/Fixed bike!
I second the advice on the the rim tape its awful! I went through 3 innertubes as a beginner wondering if a spoke was faulty if I had done it when fitting it etc.
I complained to Evans and they without questioning it sent me some proper rim tape and 4 new innertubes.
also consider adding extra cable ties or taping the break cable(rear as it moves too much and will cause scratches)
Not sure whats up with the tyres? they are pretty good i thought and have excellent reviews! unless they have changed what they supply mine had the continental ultra sport tyres on which had nearly a 100 reviews at about 5 stars.
