Ever wonder how carbon fiber race machines are made? Well, Panaracer, the tire company, visited TIME's facilities in Lyon, France. There's a great gallery of images up on Panaracer's Facebook so go check them out. I found this photo's caption interesting:
"Interestingly, only women are hired to handle the carbon fibre at TIME. Each frame is hand woven and studies have proven women do a better job in the wrapping process than do men."
