I may be related. My Dad's side of the family (all called 'Parkes') were tool makers in Birmingham, working in factories, over the last two centuries, in Aston, where FC Parkes' factory/shop was located. My great grandfather was an orphan, so it's hard to know for sure, but I am in contact with his Grandson, so we are researching it. That is why I want a frame though, in case there is a connection..
