• I wouldn't flash it about in Northern Ireland though*...I've seen the original photo that the image is derived from - I think this is the Red Hand of Ulster. Proper can of worms territory.
  
  

Why not? The red hand is on the provincial flag of Ulster and on the badge of the Co. Tyrone Gaelic Athletic Association. It's non denominational.
