Jaw vs. Virgin Media

Just spoke to BT about getting my phone line reconnected and they told me since its been disconnected for a year I'll have to pay 129 odd quid for reconnection, unless I take an 18mth contract then its lowered to 22 quid or get their broadband/phone package, which I don't want.

anyone had any experience with talk talk, too many horror stories about virgin for me to trust them, all I need is a phoneline as I'd rather get broadband from be..

Same situation, I went with BE for phone and Internet they charged half of what BT wanted to charge to install the line and you only have to deal with one VERY organised company!
