I gave both a go. Lie to me is mildly entertaining for the first few episodes until it becomes obvious that every ep will be pretty damn similar. Plus none of the characters are really developed, it's more about each case. It's a bit if distraction and time killing but that's it. I never got on with mentalist either, pretty much he same and being a massive Steve Coogan fan I can't possibly take it seriously
Not a boxset yet but has anyone watched Boardwalk Empire? Best tv I've seen since the wire and pisses all over the sopranos
