For Sale: Bianchi rekord 915 - campagnolo victory / 55cm / celeste

missus ordered that I have to get rid off some of my bicycles and other 'things' (ongoing battle as you may imagine)

here is up for grabs nice bianchi rekord 915 (yes, not record, REKORD)

frame seat tube c-t-c 55cm

mostly on camapgnolo Victory however wheels are not - most likely suntoure hubs and Super Champion Gentleman rims (which Sheldon though were brilliant) as on the pic (however front one is missing decals).

handlebar and stem 3TTT

nice bike rust free from what I can see - seems fully chromed wherevere paint came off

spokes and hubs littly rusty and I would think wheels will need re-trueing /re-doing

except that - very nice ride

it was sat in the garage/cellar since early 90's as far as previous owner knew. I dont know much more as you may imagine.

not hammered and if you properly clean/polish and possible touch up a bit will make beautiful bike.

I didnt pay much and not looking for much profit - for £300 bike is yours.

Maybe.
Tubing details might help, as would (IMO) popping on a silver seatpost, fresh white bartape and removing the pedals.
Then you might get close to your asking.

thanks George, true is that I was trying to avoid that and avoid ebay (bast%$£s). if I go for the effort I will stick in on the ebay and make some profit.
there is nothing wrong with the bike at all except not being used for a long time. chip on the pic is the worst one I can spot and frame being chromed sound like rust should not be a problem and doesnt seem.

will see. if noone here will show interest it will get cleaned and done nicely then will go on ebay... but still hope it will find a new home here.

Would you pay 120e for a courier when the bike cost 300gbp? Didnt think that.
If u really wanted to sell and made a small effort you could ship the bike for maby 60gbp.
Easy with the attitude, no wonder this wont sell.

maestri, it is my decision not attitude. had to much issues with people asking to ship not paying and wasting my time. how simple is that?

I only foud couriers in the price range of 100-140e? Thats a lot.
If you found some cheaper you could maby recommend.
Usually when im selling something i take care of the shipping and the buyer just pays the fee that I say.

I have cleand the bike today a little bit and had a ride. everything works as it should if you want to ride it. wheels are not perfect but neither bad. gears changing fine.
there is no rust on the frame whatsever only paint is scratch here and there.
