Annoyingly enough that axle dahn't fit! The one I've got on at the moment is a stoopid size. I remember now that's why I couldn't use my fancy track nuts when I first put it on. It's a smaller diameter than most and the pitch is less. It's thinness is probably the reason it bent. Also it's clear naffness is the reason it bent.

Ta for the lend but I've decided what I'll do is ride in on it (the bent one) tomorrow with my old (rather dinted) wheel on my back then get new (sealed cartridge) bearings for that one, put them in, and ride that wheel for work until the rim explodes (probably April) by which time I intend to have Jakob on the job of making me a Phil based wheel to rival the front. Any btw my freakin' bb was freakin' Italian! After all that n' all. I really should have known that. I must have been drunk. That is genuinely likely.

You could always put a question in Fixing and Mechanics or Bikes and Bits, see if anyone has a thinner axle. Someone is bound to. Bunch of OCD nerds round here. And they secretly all love a real courier.
