Hi all,
I'm trying to get an internship in a bike or human-powered-vehicle company - trying to find companies in the UK that design and manufacture their own bikes complete (rather than buying frames that other companies have designed).
Here's what I've got so far:
Pashley/Moulton
Brompton
Charge
Create
Mic Wic
Isla Bikes
Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative (haven't done much research into them and how they work as a company, it could all be bought-in bits and pieces for all I know, and at the bikes' price I would expect that it is run like that)
Karbon Kinetics (make the GoCycle)
I'm also trying to get contact details for Carrera who are the Halfords own brand, although I imagine their bikes are bought-in.
I've got dozens of contacts for companies in the Netherlands and Germany, as well as quite a few in the US and Australia, but obviously internships are often unpaid (especially in smaller companies) so unless companies are willing to pay my expenses it's probably going to be difficult to work abroad (basically impossible in the US or Australia). Any help would be appreciated
