had one on the colnago, worked fine, easier to change the bars, and to take apart for transport, but went back to quill as it looks way nicer on a steel frame.Think mine was a deda in black

hows the headset work with them? do you use the original threaded or need something else?

Inserts just like a quill. Then bang an ahead on the top. -

Clarky. Yeah they are very useful, especially of your trying to dial in a new postion, and so its easy to change stem length.
They do come in a couple of sizes I think so just check the size.
I totally agree with pullingteth, it's changed the look on my pug.
I needed a shorter reach and saves stripping off bar tape when you change bars !
