  • Riding from North London to Bedford first thing in the morning.

If in the unlikely event anyone fancies this, pm me.

I'm going to my in-laws for lunch and I need to do some prep for watership down.

  • Gonna ride to Brighton on Thursday with gears if anyone fancies joining. Not too fast but a constant well paced ride. Fixed obviously welcome.
Probs hang out for a bit then get the train back.
Not an early start, probably aiming to leave about 10 from Brocklyn.

  • I'd be up for that

  • I might be up for that one, also. I've a day in lieu that needs taking.

  • Would be keen on a weekend. Have a good one.

  • am or pm?

  • Potentially got a day's work on Thursday, but doing what I can to head in tomorrow instead.

  • Sweet. Well I'll be riding it anyway any company would be great. 10am(ish)

  • Just to say, outlook for Thursday freedom not good. I have a day in lieu, fark knows when I will get to use it. So we shall see, but either way, enjoy the trip.

  • Anyone up for fifty or so miles this Sunday am?

  • Last 2000 minutes or so :/

  • Someone up for a morning one tomorrow we departing from trafalgar sq around 9,30
We will be in the the roundabout in front of the lyons in the square. Destination: hard west!
    God knows!

  • Not a ride at all, but I've had to bail out on indoor football today due to what feels like impending lurgee.

I was going to meet a mixture of work and other friends at the T47 courts under London Bridge, here at 11:

My number is in that thread. Please text if you're interested. I'll cover costs.

They are competent and reasonably competitive but not aggressively so. Ad they aren't the flamboyant showboaters either...so it would have been fun. Let me know...

  • 50 miles round Kent, leaving SE15 in the next half an hour. Gentle, but not too gentle. Anyone interested?

  • I've had to skive off a bit recently what wiv the noice weather n that..
Would it be good to have a 'I'm skiving off today, who's joining me for a ride' thread..?

  • Bored! And fancy a cycle. Anything bike related going this evening north of the river?

Was thinking of heading down to the "south drinks" but thought i'd see if anything was happening closer to home first.

    Anybody?

  • first day after the clocks changed, get out of the office early and enjoy the sun! plenty reason enough

  • Can anyone tell me what route to BRightOn the forum ride took the day we 'accidentally' coincided with Pride? It started at Kennington Oval, via Devil's Dyke.

And does anyone fancy riding it leaving south London about 10.30 tomorrow?! Need to be back in London pretty sharpish.

  • I might be up for that skully. Will see how the legs feel tomorrow, but right now It's pretty good. I'd say 75% in...

I've never done the route though, so in this regard will be about as much help as a sack of potatoes.

  • Ok. I'm going to head for ditchling instead. Spybot's coming. Anybody else? We leave sputh London in an hour...

  • NO slacking involved...bar a cheeky half at the top of turners hill, with some lunch. It was windy out there today. Almost constant headwind for the latter half, but Skully nailed us a really nice route out of London before heading up whyteleafe and then through some awesome lanes where the sun even came out for an hour or so. Bit of a noisy main road run to ditchling but then up and over and pedalled furiously down the hill to the finish...

It was great. Some sun and less wind would have made it even better, but always a pleasure to ride with the Skullster. Thanks man.
