  • Thanks. I did some googling to see who was responsible for the courts and this is what I found. No idea if it helps.

  • Thanks Zouo, I've emailed the relevant lady, hopefully she will be lovely and helpful, I'm off down there now to get soem shots and play some solo polo. nice.

  • Quite a successful day:

I contacted the relevant lady, I received:

Yes, if you are going to be using the court regularly you need to book them by using the online site booking form on our website.
    http://www.coventry.gov.uk/ccm/navig...n/book-a-park/
The lights are on from dusk to 9.30pm and unfortuantely we cannot alter this to suit individual groups.

So I went down to see what the court plays like:

Very nice, it's not used much, moss is trying to reclaim the surface but still grip prevails, the sides are really high to keep the ball in, along withgates which shut too and...and walls which meet the floor, clearly the contractors in Coventry were better than those over at calthorpe (where BHM play on Weds)

I played for over an hour (allll byyy myyy seeeelllffff - anyway) and apart from some kids stopping and shouting ''oi - whatcha doin?!'' and a couple of dogs trying to steal the ball through the fence and failing..it was great.

    pictures:
    No escape for the ball.

  • Good contractors in coventry?
    Jesus, that's a first.
    Could be in.

  • Good find. You just need to sort out some dates and make sure everyone knows now.

  • Get the birmingham lot over
