Wrong (IMO). Precisely the other way around. I buy and sell frames, pretty much like everyone else here.
But if you buy a good headset/BB/Cranks/etc/etc/etc.... you'll stick with them forever.
My advice:
Get the best parts money can buy you, for the purpose of your build that is.
Buy a frame that you find alright and can justify the cost. Ride it until you get fed up/bored/brake it, swap all the components to a new frame.
