I've still got my MkI Guv'nor knocking around somewhere but that's falling apart and a bit too heavy duty for what I need... The MXR Micro Amp is worth a look if you've never tried it before, my mate Rick who works on Guitar magazine lent me his and I kept it for years... Was really sad to give it back, really natural sounding...
BITD I rigged up my Twin as a three channel amp... Splitter box so you can run left (clean) and right (dirty) side then I used an Ice Cube to bypass the Reverb tube that gives you an extra gain stage instead of reverb/trem, the reverb pot then controls how much (natural valve!!) distortion you get... Quite full on Boogie-ish overdrive but used sparingly it sounds awesome... Fun set-up with the right guitar... :]
