• I guess there is quite a contrast if you compared the unfit overweight me of about 5 years ago with fit muscly me (used to do quite a lot of weights) of two years ago to the cyclists body that I'm developing now...

    I actually haven't changed weight in about 6 months...I just seem to be getting denser!

    You can't win with this kind of thing. My mum freaked when I lost four stone and became convinced I was anorexic, even though I was still carrying a few extra pounds around the middle. Then I switched to strength training, which involved bulking up a little, and she made a few cracks about me having a belly. If you know you're healthy and doing it right, that's what counts.
