  • When's next Beers?

  • Just wanted to say hi and thanks for the warm reception at BHX Beers, Any Newbies (Like myself) Who Is a bit nervous of turning up can cast those worries aside.
Was good to meet some like minded new folk interested in cycling and make some plans for further events and rides in the near future.
Looking forward to coming down and checking out the Bike polo but got dragged to Co-op this morning!
Genuinely looking forward to the next round of BHX Beers next month!
    Stu.

  • So is it monthly?
I didn't stick around for that discussion, just talked to Dan about the Pololleycat really...

  • Sadly I didn't make it, but yeah monthly sounds awesome

  • Monthly/various locations (next being Prince of Wales, Moseley) was the general consensus.

  • Picking pubs for bike parking, good beer or both?

  • Soz I couldn't stay longer. I had a shepherds pie waiting for me at home! See you at the next one. Peace

  • As MrWentskiing mentioned, we think that a monthly meeting works better for most, and what I propose is that we use a small amount of beer drinking time to further publicise events/happenings that are mentioned here. Things like weekly rides, polo sessions, jumbles, open tools nights, coffee morning, knitting clubs etc.
Like I said it'll just be a few minutes, and would be a good
conversation starter for new guests. Enjoy.

  • I will do my best to get to the next meet I have an idea of organising a single speed race on a closed circuit this year that I would like your views on

  • Done deal. Will keep everyone updated.
    Closed circuit sounds veeeeeeery good.

  • Prince has good bike parking and excellent beer. Win and quite litaralley...Win!

  • What date is next Beers?
    Doing my calender...

  • can beers be a bit later in the evening? 8pm-ish? for me personally, 6.30pm is too early to be out for the whole evening plus i need to have dinner.

  • Don't be a motherboy...

  • Ha

  • i got told!

  • Righto, a February soak is on the horizon, and i have to admit that its going to be a tough one for me to attend, unless its on the last Friday of Feb. I have two weekends away at our veleodromes, and on the 11th i am being wined and dined.

Now, I appreciate that the world does not revolve around Mista Pista, so does anyone want to shout a date at me, and i'll do the rest. Good times.

  • Friday February 25th?

    I'm free...

  • I'm 50/50 on that date - may be going to Cambridge for boozing and poloing.

    Tentative weeknight suggestion?

  • ^ when is good for you Dank?
Could always have two a month, I'm sure I said that at some point, so people who can't make one can make the other.

12th is good for me but I think you're out of town..?

  • 25th is actually best for me. I'll be able to come, just may not drink to excess.

  • I'm going to call it then...
