What made you buy Wellgo? No offence but I always thought they made budget stuff, like those pedals, which I think are jus SPD copies.
Do Shimano not make an all-black high end SPD pedal?
They are copies of the discontinued Shimano LX SPDs, although they suffered from annoying silver bits:
I went for M520s on my Orrell. They have annoying silver bits too though.
I have heard that the Wellgo SPDs work better with the supplied Wellgo cleats but less well with Shimano cleats. So if you are planning on using Shimano cleats in them spotter I'd be interested to know how you get on.
They're a decent pedal for the money, but try not to pull up too much though, I find myself unclipping when I mash it/slowing down.
