-
• #2053
yep! not a big one (famous last words) but a couple of restorative foaming nut-brown ales might be just the thing. spoke to corny last night, he's back and i'm hopeful will be about too.

should be in, got to get out of the house, after weird jetlag induced early morning wake ups..
miller? or someplace else? -
• #2055
Howdy bro! Welcome back!
Miller's doable. is there anywhere else round there that's nicer but doesn't get rammed. what was that place on the cut? or one of the SEs regular spots?
Don't mind really. Miller's cool.

hartxander, love your enthusiasm, but a big NO! to Sam Smith's pubs, their cider is diabolical, worst hangover ever, off two pints, not repeating..

+1
The beer is diabolical, too. ;)
Are we actually going to settle on a pub for all this time?
I mentioned the King's Arms further up, but another pub I very much like in that area (which likewise fulfils Nhatt's wish list of "East/central/just barely south) is the Horsehoe Inn in Melior Street. More details here. On previous occasions, they let us take bikes into the garden, although I haven't been there for a while so don't know if that's still the case. Anyway, just my 2p and perhaps a new pub to try.
