Firstly, apologies if this has been asked before. If so, please post links as search gave me nothing.
Should the crank profile/tread (see here for what I mean) be the same for both the left and right cranks? I measured the distance from pedal end of the inside of the crank to the downtube and found the right arm to be 40mm away, and the left to be 44mm away. Fairly sure the frame is true, and both crankset and BB are new. I have tighened the crank bolts on both sides as far as I dare.
Any ideas where the problem may lie?
