Maybe "Marka" sold the things twice?
For one item to get lost in the Christmas post or sent to the wrong address is understandable / to happen twice is unfortunate / to happen three times sucks.
Charles seems to very lighthearted about it all - he did offer to refund my money in a PM - I think we should start pressing. We are not going away Charles - you have our money.

So what's the scoop with this? I've helpfully volunteered to go and pick up some cranks for Jimx3 - will I be met with a set of cranks or the dogs of war? Whilst Mr Reza appears to be treating this rather light-heartedly, I do have to question what's really going on.

hi guys, yeah as i said sadly im in leeds so theres not a lot i can do, kind chaps at the forum have very kindly offered to help us out and go round for it. i doubt it will be the dogs of war but i really don't know what the crack is now. charles hasn't said anything to me. apart from giving me the guys full name so i can check it out on facebook, after doing so, i can clearly see on his pictures of him in paris the exact same miche advanced crankset on his bike.....how bizarre?? little shitbag. along with the same wheel and holdfasts that he was also selling, clearly just been trying to buy some time giving us this bullshit of already posting them, when realy hes kept them so he can use them in paris. so if someone goes round tomorrow it really wouldn't suprise me if they are still attached to his bike.
nothing usually happens on here like this tough knuckles, just a shame that some prick thinks he can use people that have paid money to fund his little trip to paris. really wish i could make to london to sort this shit out.

Look Stuart, I have clearly been doing every thing I can to try and sort this problem out. I am in the same boat as you, he owes me money as he was once a friend but now is not. I have been constantly trying to get in touch with marka but he has disappeared off the radar. Trust me, this has not been in the slightest bit enjoyable having to pick up the pieces for marka's fuck up. Might I add. 'they' don't have the money. All of the payments were made to marka's account, while jim's payment for the cranks was put into my account as payment from marka for me selling the other components which were received by each buyer. I would be happy to meet with you in person to discuss this face to face, and even to take you round to marka's house so we can attempt to confront him together. Clearly I am a trustworthy person if you take into account my previous forum sales, purchases and correspondence
I've only now found out that marka didn't go to Paris, it was yet another lie
I am NOT taking this matter lightheartedly, and I strongly resent even the suggestion! Clearly by the fact that I have been in constant contact with jim, marc and yourself, I have been doing as much as I can to resolve these serious issues. You have all had as much contact with him as I have, and after these problems have been rectified I have no desire to speak to the lying cunt again
