Was playing this yesterday (continued big ups to TheSlag), enjoying it immensely as usual, but get this...
This morning I walk into the Italian coffee place next to work and I spy a half-concealed 45 on the shelf next to the biscotti with Disc JoXXX written on it... Could there possibly be a 45 of Prisencolinensinainciusol sitting on the shelf of my favourite Kensington coffee palace?!?!?!?
"Is that an Adriano Celentano record up there?" I ask... "Yes, it is... You know it?" Asks the nice Italian man who runs the place who is also a keen roadie... Cue awesome conversation about the genesis of rap/did it start with this song?/why didn't Celentano do any other songs as good as this?
