I wish Halfords or Argos would sell something really simple but well-made like the BTwin Vitamin. But you can only order it online which means that most people that are new to cycling won't have heard of it. I think they might've stopped making it anyway.
Halfords do the Carreras which aren't bad I guess. Better than Tesco bikes at least. Shame about the unreliable quality of the staff though (I should know, I used to work there)
