Yes! I had this same conversation last week.. someone didn't want to come to Brockley because it meant coming up a hill!! But it's only a hill if you approach via New Cross or Dulwich. I come through Nunhead, so more of a gentle incline.

And, as Andy says, the Telegraph is before we get to any 'hill' :)

@ damo - it's technically in New Cross, but Skully thinks calling it 'Peckham drinks' is going to encourage more people to come so they don't think its anywhere near the hills of Brockley ;-)

Huh?! After reading both threads let me see if I got this straight:

Skully wanted to rename the thread to Peckham to avoid confusion. He created another thread. Richie wasn't having any of it and has organized a rebellious drinks session in the same pub on the original thread. On the 28th the two groups will collide and Skully and Richie will solve the dispute through an interpretive dance-off that Oliver will judge. Joe will be in attendance as it is likely he will have nothing better to do.

I will judge it unjustly, though. You have been warned.
