Chris King Headset Conversion

Right, so I got a great deal on a frame which included a 2nut chris king headset but I actually want to use the headset on my main bike which is 1" threadless. Could i get away with just getting the chris king bearing cap and scuff washer and then using my current stem cap, star fangled nut and screw? Or am I missing something else vital, I don't know very much about headsets since I always just get my lbs to do anything needed.

CK sell conversion kits too, you may be able to bodge it with other bits but I've never tried...

Ye I saw that but it's twice the price of just buying the bearing cap and scuff washer. And aspire velotech don't have a silver one in stock anyway. Thanks though.

that is exactly what you need to do. bromley bikes are your best bet as they are also evolution imports who are the king importer.
