    My personal belief, is that HH needs a building in a similar vein to the one at Hog Hill, it serves a cycling facility perfectly and is secure, cost effective and convenient to operate.

    Just patching up the track and putting in some buildings won't safe the velodrome.

    It needs to be seen as a place to go for people other than those who want to ride the track. Local families who have no interest in track cycling need to buy into the venue and support it. You can only do that by making it attractive. Giving it a modern facelift and creating a park that can be enjoyed by many is a good approach.

    The more people who use it the more it'll be supported by people with money...

    The limited amount of trackies that would use it would not attract people with money that are needed to keep it alive... if it was we would not be were we are now.
