Even at that price it makes the Lockwhip look like a steal, given that the Park tool doesn't have the lock ring and 15mm spanner functions.

SJSC have a good price on the Shimano TL-SR22, although still more than a Lockwhip and still no 15mm function

I've given up on chainwhips, I keep braking them.

I gave up using cheap substitutes. All the silly tools from Halfords I had are mutilated. Only Park and IceTool ones left.

I broke my Icetools one last week.

Don't buy from Halfords or similar then. Every single tool from the box is dead.

I had one on recommendation from my LBS, they said they used to stock loads but this was the best one so it was the only one they stocked anymore. I broke it.
