For those of you who aren't familiar with 56a we are a radical space in the Elephant & Castle area which hosts an infoshop and a bike shop where we teach people how to fix their bikes for free, and have some new and used parts we take donations for. Open Wed-Sat Afternoons

What pub does the SE drinks take place in? of the few pages I skim read it seems like it's been changed a few times over the years.

I may pop in for an introductory pint this eve on the way home but can anyone tell me what the bike locking options are like outside as I'm on my commuter (read: most expensive bike) today cos it didn't occur to me to ride the pub hack and I get antsy locking it up in unknown places cos it's not been fully paid for yet (cycle2work).

There's loads of bike racks, benches and plant pots to lock to. We all lock there, and if you're not confident in your lock just get someone to lock theirs on top of yours.

I was comfortable leaving my uninsured very pinchable new road bike there recently.

I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it tonight because I need to get some work done on a job application today, but my boss is in Peterborough so I am doing it at work, woo.
