Inspired by this thread I popped into an opticians today.
Now which pair to get?
i would say that all three are too wide for your temples

It doesn't help, that all the frames have security tags attached. Could be worse though, as they're often attached right in the middle.

I'm pretty keen on the circle ones too, kinda Harry Potter chic.
Anyone know where I could find a budget version? -

Thats so 15 years ago.

Neil, none of them. Too wide for your face, and the clear/missing bottom part of the frame looks really old man. I think you need a narrower, rounder, frame that doesn't have such a distinction between the top and bottom

And frameless. Keep yourself young.

thank you blue quinn, thank you east end images; i feel decidedly old with my choice of spectacle now :-(

But you is black. You wear glasses, they don't wear you, so you can go away with it.
You can go for something bold without looking like you're trying to hard**)racist

That photo looks familiar...;)
Got similar to these but I hate them on me as they're too narrow for my fat crainum. Dirt cheap from spec savers. I've always been partial to that 70s pimped tint but you look a complete tool anywhere in the UK after sun down as everyone assumes your perscription glasses are shades. I'll try and find an old image of my Tom Davies...

thanks for the support bro joe :-) the faith will be kept.

Come on. Of course they will suit you. It's just there's no hope for Neil.
By the way, do you still rock the mutton chops, G?
-
• #196
sorry if these people have been mentioned already. good choices and prices.
muton chops still there. i am scared to shave them off , i might lose all my power or what little power i have. very tempted to go for the multishaved look.

Good indeed.
very tempted to go for the multishaved look.
You will regret it. Like me cropping my hair too short.

The irony inherent in Joe being the one to come to your aid is not lost on me.
Gerald, we would of course need to see you in the specs of your choice to be sure. You are likely to have a different shaped head to Neil. And be a little further away from the camera.

And don't use wide lens.

Dammit definitely #2 or 3, I think probably 3 too.
