Stolen bikes

@alreed, no help I know but that surely is the bike I used to see outside Slack shoes in W10 - I'm local and rode past it a lot, always admiring it. Gutted for you, I hope you get it back.

STOLEN: Surly Steam roller frame (maroony brown), yellow non machined rear deep V (black fixation tyre), black machined deep V front (black fixation tyre and front brake), Mich 48 tooth crank, silver MKS pedals and clips, risers w/black grips and ITM short stem. Brookes B17 Champion special (copper rivets and rails) Red chris king A Head set (GUTTED).
Stolen from my shared hallway today between 12:30 and 14:30 whilst I was in the flat less than a couple of metres away. FLat block is on Moulins Road E9, Lauriston road end.

Will have a good search at the Lane tomorrow. If i don't see that bike again I will have RAGE.

Got a call from Henry who spotted it locked on his street. He locked it for me whilst I was on my way to do the same. Had to do a little stakeout on it until the police came who removed it from the fence it was locked to and have now taken it to forensics.

Hopefully they'll find someone as it's connected to a repeat burglary in which my girlfriends wheels were stolen.

FOUND!!!! just had my full carbon road bike stolen outside Fulham town hall. No decals, carbon finish, Fizik Saddle, 3t Ergo bar and white H+Son wheels on 105 hubs. doubt anyone will see it but should you, give us a shout so i can pass on to the cops! cheers

not sure if stolen but I saw a dodgeyish guy cycling on the pavement on a yellow Giant road frame converted to single speed with a chain tensioner and I think it had a white aerospoke.

can he be detained for crimes against taste?

One of York's riders had his Cinelli Mash stolen from the uni campus today. Its the grey/grey frame in a pretty small size, hed3 on the front, H+Son on the rear, Sugino Messenger Crankset and Nitto Pursuits.

Attempted Theft??
About 8am this morning outside the Sainsbury on Liverpool road some guy with a mains powered angle grinder having a go at a lock on a yellow road bike. Sparks flying everywhere and there was a police car getting out to have a word with him.
Not sure if results of lost keys or someone trying to nick a bike but if someone is missing a yellow bike (couldn't get the build) then I'd suggest trying Islington Police
