Nightmare, forgot about 20% VAT, much less of a bargain.
The LHBPA is in a position to "group buy" 700c 48h black machined Sputnik rims at £29.40 each (including delivery).
We need to order 20 at a time to qualify for free delivery though, if we get close to 20 names down then I'm happy for the LHBPA to front the cash and distribute the rims, any takers?
Note. If you end up buying your rims through Paypal, it will be more expensive as we need to cover the fees. The Paypal price per rim would be £30.67
Here are some cheap 48h wheels options too:
Built up front wheel with Quando hub (100mm): £44.40 front (£46.21 via Paypal)
Built up rear wheel with Quando hub (120mm, single sided freewheel): £45.60 (£47.46 via Paypal)
A pair of wheels is simply double the price: £90 (£93.45 via Paypal)
All hubs/spokes come in a choice of black or silver, the black hubs have a 14mm axle (you'd need to file your dropouts), the silver hubs have a 13mm axle (you'd need to file your dropouts a little less). The wheels would be handmade by Target, who have been building wheels for over 20 years and have "exceptional build quality".
