good thinking - i'm going to measure again - but i did use a 700c in the rear yesterday when measuring. i'll take a guess that a 650 wheel will bring the 571/2 plus a little for tyre center of front axle to 30cm over floor. no mention of wheel size here:
while i'm at it - anyone know why they insist on track ends on the velodrome - if the BB was high enough what'd be wrong with semi horizontal road droputs? - conceivably then a tight and high (and cheap) crit frame would do fine.
