Ja they did that. Think it was so they could keep the price at a competitive level and apparently the craftsmanship is just as good, a couple of reviews said the welding was actually better..
Ed, thanks for the advice. I read that you bought the V2, would you still consider a V1 over the V2? I do agree with you on the fork front though, the V1's definitely made the bike.. I did read that they stopped making them though, I gather they're back in production again? Or did you manage to persuade them to sort you out with a set :)?
