I may be interested in the Garmin! Does it have full maps of the UK or do you need to plot a route first? (I found that confusing) Cheers for the help.

He explained to me via PM how it works.
"It does have all the uk maps loaded as standard, but also the Europe cities. You can just free ride and navigate your way, or plot courses and load them up. You can also load up alternative mapping systems if your prefer those" -

I can confirm that the 705 does work in Europe with that package- just use some common sense when following the directions- for example it will not count an exit onto a motorway as an exit, so count one more than it says.
Don't insist on going onto the motorway because technically it is exit 4, and that's what your Garmin is telling you to do.

Cycling on Motorways is tedious anyway. Though the nice policemen always seem to flash you and say hello, which is cheering.

Police were especially friendly on the way out of Paris. Threatened to put my friends and I in jail for cycling on the motorways.

Oh FFS. Don't they know we're all in Europe now? I guess they are still a bit touchy about the Germans using them for their tanks.

Dura Ace Aero Pedals/Toshi Straps- SOLD
Lovely pedals, correct Shimano metal Clips and Black Toshi "NJS" Single Straps. Bit of paint rubbed off on the LH plate (these are replacable if required) and a tiny bit of play in one pedal. I dont have the spanner to service it. No biggy, think they're a couple of quid to buy, just haven't got round to it myself.
Garmin Edge 705 GPS - Euro Bundle (Maps, cadence, HR monitor, etc)*- SOLD*
Bought recently second hand, although unit was a new replacement at the time. Original owner had sent one back to have screen repaired and Garmin eventually sent out a new unit, in the mean time he had bought another and this was for sale...anyways, i dont use it to it's full potential, so it's got to go to a better home. Has the Euro Cities Maps (extra £80) and the Heart Rate Monitor, Cadence, Bike mounts and all the gubbins, will have to dig out some zip ties though. Condition is as new, no scratches, etc and functions as it should. There appears to be one dead pixel which is only noticable on dark backgrounds it seems. Will try and get some pics up.
Schwalbe "Milano" Tub 700x22 - As new in packaging - SOLD
more pictures will be here when they are all uploaded.....
cheers folks
