  • I just had the misfortune of looking at a dedicated fashion forum for the first time. I saw a thread on a brand I quite like (but can't afford), and these are the kinds of comments you find:

"fucking sick shit coming from this brand. that gilet in green and the blue flower jacket is bare dopeness. none of its wack, its all ill."

With absolutely no irony at all.

That'll be some douche from Conneticut though

  • Hats. Now there's a furrow I've yet to plough. Aside from peaked and knitted hats, I've yet to try a proper hat. I wouldn't dare actually. And to think of how ubiquitous they once were.

  • whats the brand?

    Engineered Garments

  • Engineered Garments

    Can't see the attraction TBH

There's always hype brands, that's one of them

  • I dunno, some nice shirts and jackets, but a lot of (for me) unwearably weird gear. I know there's hype there but the quality is pretty great and the fabrics are brill.

  • Like me, navy's your colour. Compliments the ginger

    no-one has ever complimented ginger.

    Ever.

  • Good with lemon and honey...
    #manflu

  • Blue & Orange, complimentary colours - FACT!

I got 'A' in GCSE art so I talk sense

  • no-one has ever complimented ginger.

    Ever.

BRM , robert redford. i rest my case

  • i liked some of the clothes , some of it looked too catwalk for me. but a fair percentage looked wearable. again that thing of seeing it close up. so much can change when you feel the quality of fabric and see the finer detail.

  • the length of these shorts is good. so glad that the mid calf length is not being pushed

  • Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels.

  • the length of these shorts is good. so glad that the mid calf length is not being pushed

    Such a BAAAAAAD look

  • But she did have that bad tit Astaire in front of her.
    Gene Kelly>Fred.
    Fact!

  • I have to agree there!

  • I watched Singing in the Rain over Christmas.
That bit where Gene goes off on one dancing with the lady in the white sheet. EPIC.

You can spot the strength of the wind fan that was used in the shot by checking the ripple on his trouser legs when he stands still.

    Two things:
    1) Nobodies hair moves
    2) The woman is wearing next to nothing and must be frozen.

    NAILS. The pair of them.

    Strawberry blond, FFS!

  • for new york its a good look. the idividual elements are what i like and all i would wear, maybe not together.

Isn't that the point though. Y0u like the 'elements' but they look shite together

Like saying "I love filet steak me, I also adore creme brule"

    You wouldn't eat them together

  • The world is full of shit stylists... And that model?!? I'm gonna start going to castings, mate...
    #nothatin #justsayin

  • How we imagine ourselves it not always how we do look.

  • Thanks, Captain Obvious*...

    • In my mind I haven't changed since I was 17 yrs old...

BTW There are no mirrors in my house...

  • So true, bro.
