I think the point MG was making, was not about Eastenders and where the plots come from. I think his point was, why do people complain about this shit and not the real shit that matters?

there are so many bigger issues. lets get on the bankers bonuses, rise in parking fines, VAT, abolishing of Child benefits.. maybe eastenders writers should grow some stones and put them into the plot line instead of grim weaknesses and tragedy. fucking doom merchants!
