The only thing I'd say is with the jacket you might want to think about the time of year you're likely to go and where VS. what you'll use it for when cycling. If it's going to be fucking cold, then you might want something skiing with enough room for an extra baselayer or flease, while if you want your jacket close fitting on the bike it won't work.
However if you spend more and get some really good tecy baselayers - some very warm then this might be a nonpoint.
