wouldnt bother investing in equipment yet. invest in your eye for composition and light and stuff first

i'd kill for that olympus...

if youre after something digital i suggest pretty much any canon or nikon slr

not sure what kind of photography you want it for though, or what your budget is. could give a bit of advice if you let me know

best advice i was given... spend the majority of your money on your lens(es). a camera is just a light-proof box - whereas the lens is what the light comes through. since light is fundamental to photography, a good quality lens is the most important piece of equipment

Me and a few guys from the office are doing this again this year. Was tough last year, mostly as I ate to much and rode to little over christmas (same as this year). It was also cold and icy. The free beans on toast and coffee in the cafe at the end were a lifesaver, you'll need that for the ride back to town.

ive been on the turbo twice a week and doing some distance rides since october so hopefully i won't die. as long as i can keep up with rob i'm happy

might try and get a lift there off one of the drivers at work... one lives less than a mile from me
