After weeks of just opening a beer whenever I feel like it having to wait until at least 6 seems like punishment. Anyone fancy a pint later? The Flask in Highgate is nice, how about there. 7ish?

Getting out of bed and into work was particularly strenuous this morning. I feel quite broken, with no excuse other than having been a lazy git for two whole weeks.

Am at least spared having to get up that hill tonight because of playing football, which is hopefully the lesser of two evils. Hopefully.

As i've only had the bank holidays off my sympathy for those struggling to get up today after nearly 2 weeks off is limited to approximately none but looking forward to a few beers up the hill later because i'm sure more booze is exactly what we all need.

Oh God. I think the January blues have
just hit. I've just eaten a large cadbury fruit and nut, a family bag of doritos and a pack of winegums for dinner. I'm now going to put on all the clothes I own, find some phone books to shred and nest in and brew a cocktail strong enough to keep me sedated until early spring.
